Q1. Clayshop: What do you like the most about working at Clayshop?
Ms. JM: For me, it is the people you work with. They play a big part in your everyday life at the company. With the best people, you can collaborate and work peacefully without stressing yourself or experiencing toxicity. I even made real friends out of my co-workers. They’re the kind of people you could treasure your whole life. And the best coworkers are also our bosses because they show their full support for us everytime we dream of doing something and they’ll assist us throughout the journey. They are just one chat away too!
Q2. Clayshop: How would you describe the work environment at Clayshop?
Ms. JM: Clayshop has the best work environment I’ve been in since this is my first job and so it really sets a high standard. This is not your usual environment as it focuses on being playful and creative and that makes us employees feel that we are not in the usual office setup and that helps us employees thrive mentally. Clayshop gives us an environment where we can freely move around, feel safe and we even have cats for you to cuddle with anytime you feel stressed.
Q3. Clayshop: How does the company view work-life balance?
Ms. JM: The company offers activities for the employees. Pre-pandemic time, we even have BBQ Friday Nights every month. Different activities were planned for 2020 onwards, but the pandemic came and made it hard for us to proceed gathering physically. That’s why Clay made sure that on every important occasion, they can offer and entertain us in the best way possible to ease our mind on our work–even on a virtual set-up for now.
Q4. Clayshop: How do you manage to embody the company’s “Work. Play. Live” mantra?
Ms. JM: I make sure to have specific plans for work and for myself separately. Whenever I feel like I’m working too much, I’ll schedule a time off for myself to calm down and think things through. If there’s always a chance for a time off, I always grab that opportunity since having time to rest gives me time to reflect which is really healthy.. But I also make sure that I have already done everything I needed to do at work before taking a vacation.
Q5. Clayshop: Where do you envision Clayshop in the coming years?
Ms. JM: I can see Clayshop having more big clients and of course, surviving this pandemic era. Clayshop will reach its dream to be more known in the industry as a quality provider for videos and will expand to so much more. I see myself being with Clayshop until we reach the day where we can say that we did it. I want to be present on that day and proudly say that I became a part of that and helped the company reach that. I’ll be one of the people who’ll stay no matter how long it takes.
Now that we're in the midst of a pandemic, Clay ensures that all their employees are safe to work. Everyone is currently given an option to work from home to minimize spreading the virus and casualty count.
However, working from home doesn’t mean it alleviates pressure from the employees. To overcome this, the employees still try to communicate from time to time. Though everyone is busy, they still try to reach out and check on one another. They make sure no one's feeling left behind.

Employees may be willing to work extra hours everyday but still manage to have time for their personal lives.
